Ali Anwar joined as veterinarian at Mandai Wildlife Group since his graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2007. His duty as veterinarian includes treating the large collection of wildlife and exotic animals in the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonder parks. Animals under his care include the commonly encountered exotic animals in practice such as prairie dogs, sugar gliders, rabbits, gerbils, various bird, and reptile species. His is also the founder and current president of the Wildlife and Exotic Veterinarian Special Interest Group which an association for wildlife and exotic practitioner in Malaysia.
