Objectives- Enhance Competency: Improve the ability of small animal clinicians in radiological interpretation of the thorax and abdomen using simple concepts and Roentgen signs.This includes recognising and honing your interpretation skills to ensure precise diagnoses and avoid preconceived notions.
- Generate Diagnoses: Develop the skills to generate differential diagnoses or definitive diagnoses based on imaging findings, using a step-by-step guidance approach with real-life case studies.
- Stimulate Critical Thinking: Foster critical thinking and reconcile imaging findings/diagnoses with confirmed clinical diagnoses through engaging, case study-driven discussions.
Participants will be able to:
- Systematic Description: Describe abnormal radiological findings systematically based on Roentgen signs, incorporating insights from two board-certified experts - Prof. Dr. Heng and Dr. Lim, all under one masterclass.
- Address Limitations and Pitfalls: Recognize the limitations and potential pitfalls in radiography and effectively address them with the aid of other imaging modalities when applicable, guided by a structured instructional approach.
- Informed Clinical Decisions: Utilize information from imaging studies to make informed clinical decisions.
