General
Completing the registration process constitutes a legally binding contract
It is the responsibility of the delegates to ensure that the information, including any financial details, provided for the registration are correct.
Registration entitlement
Upon payment of registration fees, delegates may attend the Scientific Programme, welcome reception, Opening and Closing Ceremony during the congress, and admission to the exhibition booths. Delegates are also entitled to a name badge (Name badge to be worn throughout the entire Congress), congress bag, pocket programme, coffee breaks and lunch.
Fees for Malaysian Night (Gala Dinner), accommodation and optional tours are NOT included in the registration fees.
Registration Process and Payment
Delegates can register via the online Registration System, which is available from 1 January 2024 to 21 July 2024.
To enjoy the early-bird rate, full payment of the registration fee must be received by the Organiser by 15 April 2024. Upon full payment, an official receipt and a letter to confirm participation will be issued via email to each delegate.
Cancellations on or before 15th April 2024 (Malaysian Time): 50% refund.
Cancellations requests received after 15th April 2024 (Malaysian Time) will not be entertained, and are chargeable, including No-shows. No refund of any type will be provided for paid registration. Any credit card surcharges and bank transfer payments will not be refunded.
The Organiser reserves the right to make amendment to any of the arrangements for FASAVA 2024, including the cancellation of the congress, should unforeseen circumstances require such action and will inform the delegates on changes, if any. There shall not be any additional liability to the Organiser of FASAVA 2024, event organiser or any other individuals/organisations associated with the organisation of the congress.
In the special circumstances that the entire congress has to be cancelled, the Organiser will refund the registration fee to the delegates. However, the Organiser will not be liable for other associated costs, e.g. accommodation and travelling expenses, and any inconvenience incurred to the delegates due to the cancellation.
Refunds will be paid within 30 working days after confirmation of cancellation by delegates or cancellation of the congress by the Organiser.
Privacy policy
The Organiser will maintain and manage the delegate's personal data in accordance with the provisions in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (PDPA)
For promotional purposes, photographs and video recordings will be taken during the congress. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the Organiser in writing, prior to the congress, via email at secretariat@fasava2024kualalumpur.com. The photographs and videos may be published by the Organiser in any manner as they think fit. Delegates who have taken part in any photographs or videos are considered to have agreed with such publication.
Liability
The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the congress and other matters related to it, if deemed necessary, with or without prior notice to delegates or other parties concerned
This agreement to the terms and conditions of the registration and all disputes are subject to the Malaysian Law
Delegates shall authorise the Organiser to use all information given in Registration Form for computerised handling of the congress by the Organiser and event organiser.
