Dr. Choy Siew Fen (Dylan) is the Scientific Communication and Scientific Affairs Manager of Royal Canin Malaysia. She is qualified with the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2017 from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Upon graduation, she pursued her career as a companion animal clinician at a local animal medical center in Kuala Lumpur prior to taking up her current role. She joined Royal Canin Malaysia as the Scientific Communication Manager in 2020, and has since delivered nutritional trainings on cats and dogs to more than thousands of professionals in the companion animal industry, including but not limited to pet retail specialists, veterinarians, veterinary students, professional dog and cat breeders, as well as various government and non-governmental organizations.

Dr. Lori Prantil, MPS, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition), is a distinguished leader in veterinary medicine,  specializing in clinical nutrition. Currently a Research Senior Scientist at Royal Canin in Aimargues,  France, Dr. Prantil drives innovation in pet nutrition through research and product development.  Her extensive academic background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts  University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She is also a Diplomate of the American  College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) with a focus on nutrition. 

Prior to her role at Royal Canin, Dr. Prantil served as a Pet & Product Science Specialist,  contributing to the development of high-quality pet nutrition products. Her commitment to  evidence-based practice and her expertise in clinical nutrition have been instrumental in improving  pet health globally. 

Beyond her research and clinical work, Dr. Prantil is a respected speaker and educator, known for  her engaging presentations and advocacy for evidence-based practice. Her contributions to  veterinary literature have earned her recognition within the veterinary community. 

With her passion for animal health and her dedication to advancing veterinary nutrition, Dr. Lori  Prantil continues to make significant contributions to the well-being of pets and the veterinary  profession.

Rio Setiawan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in veterinary science, scientific communication, and animal behavior. With over a decade of experience in the field, Rio currently serves as the SEA Scientific Communication & Scientific Affairs Lead at Royal Canin, where he spearheads initiatives to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical application in the pet care industry.
Prior to his role at Royal Canin, Rio held various positions including Scientific Affairs Manager and SEA Scientific Communication Lead, where he demonstrated his expertise in veterinary science and communication.
Rio's journey in the field began with his academic pursuits, including a Master of Science in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from The University of Edinburgh. This rigorous program equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of animal welfare issues and the latest research in animal behavior. Rio's passion for veterinary science led him to complete a post-graduate scheme at Bogor Agricultural University, where he gained practical experience through internships in various veterinary settings.
With his unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience, Rio is a sought- after speaker on topics related to animal behavior, welfare, and veterinary science. His insights into scientific communication and his ability to translate complex research into actionable strategies make him a valuable asset to any discussion or event in the field of animal care.
